  1. In this book there is a boy who is a liar but no one knows it except a girl. So when Neil Armstrong lands in the moon the boy who is a liar shouts in the whole neighbourhood that Neil Armstrong is a girl’s uncle which was the biggest lie. 1 year passed and the boy who was the liar and the girl just became best friends. This told me how a liar and a normal girl become best friends.

  2. I read this book for my “Book Bowl Book” and I loved it! There were some parts that made me excited, some parts made that made me mad, sad, and confused. Is this book based on a true story? If not how did you think of the idea? Once again, I really loved this book and it is one of my favorites!

  3. This is a great book. Even my dad loves it. I think this is the type of book that everyone would like once they read it. I would like it to be a best-seller. Maybe I’ll vote for this.

  4. This is one of my favorite Sakura Medal books because I want to be an astronaut when I grow up. Neil Armstrong is one of my biggest heroes. This book is a story about friendship. In the beginning, Tamara did not like Muscle Man because he’s a liar. But in the end, they became very good friends.

  5. I really think Kebsie Grobser is a VERY important character in the book because, she gives hope and bravery to Tamara. Muscle McGinty is a lying snake, squirrelly runt, and a pitiful excuse of a ten-year-old, or is he? Tamara sees the real him inside that body.

  6. Mr.Pizzarellis son died.
They had fun playing the four square game.
I like this book because it is very exciting and you understand what they are trying to say. The best part was when they heard that Neil Armstrong was going to the moon.

  7. I liked this book but in some places in the book, I thought it was boring.

  8. I loved this book. I liked the way Nan told the story also. It was interesting. I couldn’t my head out of it. In the night I hid a flash light and read under the covers!!!!!

  9. I liked it when muscle man confeses that he wrote the letters and not Tamara’s best friend. I think muscle man would loss if the author finished the kick ball game in the book.

  11. I liked this book because nobody believes Muscle man’s lies
but not even a single person talked back to him as if they all believed him
His lies are hilarious and nobody believes them
Plus, his nickname is muscle man but actually he is a thin boy without muscle

(sorry, the top one was mine but I forgot to put my name.)

  14. Muscle man is a lier! I thought some lies were funny. Some parts were boring though…
Well I still liked the story!

  15. A friend showed me your comments and this webpage. Thank you all for your comments about Neil Armstrong Is My Uncle. I really enjoy reading them. And thank you for reading my book. Sophia, this book is not a true story, but when I was ten, there was a boy on my block who challenged everyone to a kickball game. In real life the game lasted about ten minutes, but the boy never gave up — and that story stuck with me. There was also a neighbor who used to sing at all the barbeques. His favorite song was the one that Mr. Pizzarelli sings. Amani, I used to read with a flashlight, too.
