Quite a violent and graphic book. You may want to caution young or sensitive readers about this one. Not all libraries may want to carry this story.

on the back in the blurb it says “Readers Beware” and stuff like “Caution”
So I think it’s their fault if they get the book and they don’t think it is a good story to keep at their library, they should of just read the blurb!

Im still in the beginning but the first part is so scary! They said that they cut off someones head! Sooooo scary! This story is very violent. Is that why only the upper graders can be in book bowl?

This and another sakura book is my favorite book ever! This book is so exiting and scary! I think he is such a good author! This is one of my book bowl book! Someday if I ever become an author I want to be a author that has such good ideas like him!
P.S I also like how you add some of the narrator’s words between the story so we can kinda get the idea what is going to happen next.

This book is freaky and disgusting but at the same time, it’s cool and fun!

I ordered this book from Scholastic. It is a scary version of Hansel and Gretel. I liked the part when Hansel visits Hell and when he dressed up as the Devil’s grandmother. I will definitely vote for this book.

Facts: A scary quest, lots of blood and even more blood.
Opinion: I love it
Reason for opinion: I like the quest in the story.

It’s bloody. Just plain bloody and creepy. But it’s interesting that the narrator says these are the real versions!

Are you sure that it’s creepy? I thought it was hilarious of the narrator to go like: THE END *flips page*: NOT QUITE. Thats why I love this book!

I really liked this book because it stays scary and exiting the whole time.
Tho it was some times to violent and scary.
But i enjoyed reading it.I especially thought lips that red as blood was pretty violent.

It is 100% Awesome! I love this book! It is pretty bloody. If you don’t like blood, then you should not read this. There is one part when Gretel CUT OFF HER OWN FINGER AND USED IT TO OPEN A DOOR! Even I thought that was disgusting.

I read the book. How come Adam says it’s true??? I don’t think it’s true because When you cut of someone’s head you can not join it back together!!! And you can not go to Hell when you are alive!!!! There is nothing like Devil or Hell gates!!!! It really doesn’t seem like it is true!!!

A Tale Dark & Grimm is about siblings Hansel and Gretel who run away from their parents and try to find better parents to live with. It isn’t that much of a scary story even though people think that.

I have NEVER read a scary book that is scary, NEVER. But this one gave me the creeps. I started the book in bed, and went on and on untill i just got too scared.
It just sucks you in, you can’t stop. Its bloody all right. I love it.
