  1. I really liked this book. It was an interesting adventure set during the Second World War in both Poland, Germany and Sweden. It was exciting and had a slightly different view point to the normal World War Two books that we have in my school at least. Read it and find out!

  2. I thought this book gave me a view of WW 2 from a kids point of view in Germany at the time. THe best part of the book was that there were actual rebellions of the Nazis during that period of time. Then they got away with by running to Sweden and alost getting caught, but then safely arriving in Sweden.

  3. This book was good, but it wasn’t very exciting at the first half. As Peter and others escape in the back half, it gets more interesting. Still, I think this book will teach you how the Nazis acted, and how people suffered. I recommend it to people who like adventures

  4. I feel really sorry for Peter as he was separated from his parents permanently but I am very happy for him as he was adopted by an important person.
