  1. We liked this book. We thought the animals where cute. We liked the last page where the rat, mole and rabbit did a ‘burp’. We liked the pictures. We liked how there was two stories happening at once.

  2. Badger’s Fancy Meal is an interesting story about a discontent Badger, desperate for something better to eat than wormy vegetables. He sets off to find something better to eat and scares smaller animals that run away from him.

Finally Badger is so hungry that he goes back to his badger hole but there’s an unpleasant suprise waiting for him. But Badger learns his lesson and realizes that you should be happy with what you have.

The language used is very descriptive and the pictures are eye catching because of the color’s used. The characters could be drawn from real life and Badger’s character develops throughout the story as he realizes he was fine to begin with.

The moral of the story is that you realize how good things were after you lose them.

    1/5.
